Nampower board has just concluded an emergency meeting in which its Managing Director Paulinus Shilamba was suspended effective tomorrow.

Shilamba will be replaced by Hanri Jacobs, Chief Officer of Finance, Treasury and Property Management who will assume duties of acting Managing Director from Friday.

The board has also suspended, O'Brien Hekandjo who is the Chief Officer of Technical Services and Werner Graupe, Energy Trading (acting).
