Teen in court for vagina mutilation

by Linekela Halwoodi
Courts

When a 17-year old boy from Khomasdal failed to rape a woman from the same neighbourhood on 9 October last year, he then tried to mutilate her vagina.
But again he failed to cause maximum damage managing only to cause a scratch on the woman’s prized possessions.
The teenager who escaped the scene was later tracked down and arrested by the police the next day.
The boy appeared before a Katutura magistrate last week to answer to charges of assault with intent to do grievous harm and indecent assault.
He was granted a N$100 bail but will reappear in court later this year. V-Metro cannot reveal his identity because the culprit is considered under age.
