Michael Noreseb (24) from Goreangab Dam in Windhoek found himself behind bars at Wanaheda police station last week after calling Johannes Oxuseb an hermaphrodite.
It did not end there as Noreseb physically assault Oxuseb by stabbing him on the left cheek with a knife.
Noreseb was, however, only arrested the following day and appeared in court this week where he was charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm as well as a second charge of crimen injuria when he said the complainant has a vagina, therefore impairing his dignity.
He was released on a N$150 bail as it is all he could afford.
He will be returning to court on 6 March next year.
