Power shortage in Oshakati

Oshakati Premier Electric announced that a shortage of electricity is expected.

The announcement was made today and the shortage will occur on September 21 from 06h30 to 19h30 due to NamPower rerouting the existing 66 kilo volts (kV) line from Omatando Substation to Oshakati in the area of the new Extension 16 development.

Areas and customers affected include entire Oshakati including Embandu, Ontuli, Oniimwandi and Oshaandja.Public are warned during the power outage, power supply must at all times be treated as alive ,as the power will be re-energizing without prior notification.
