Bank Windhoek have made an instant reaction to the latest increase

in the repo rate by adjusting their lending rates effective this week.

In a statement reliesed by the Banks Marketing and

Communications department BW said, "In reaction to the increase

in the policy rate by the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank

of Namibia, Bank Windhoek hereby announces the increase in our

Prime Lending Rate by 0.25% from 9.50% to 9.75% and our Mortgage

Lending Rate from 10.50% to 10.75%."

These interest rate changes will be effective from Friday, 22 August
