17 year-old Ongha Village resident in Ohangwena shocked revelers last week as he accused his step-mother, Selma Ekandjo, of trying to seduce him.
According to a police source in Ohangwena, Selma tried to slide her right hand down the teenager’s pants to feel his manhood, which later led to a fight between the couple.
“There was a fight and we were called to the scene, but they both did not want to press charges. She apparently tried to put her hand in his trousers just to feel him, the boy then told his father later that day and he decided to confront. That’s how the fight came about,” said the police source.
The teenager’s father, Elias Nuule (45) confirmed the allegations, though refusing to give more details about events leading to the confrontation and the subsequent fight.
“It’s a family matter, not you or the police will be able to solve it. We are going to talk about the situation this coming weekend. Whoever is interested in the story must call me on Sunday and I will tell them the truth because right now it’s all just allegations,” said Nuule.
Selma denied attempts to seduce the teenager, claiming it was a circumcision discussion that went wrong. “ His father had told me to prepare him for circumcision at the hospital. When we discussed, he kept asking questions and I tried to demonstrate it outside his trousers and I did not even touch his pants. The kid is a liar and this is not the first he is lying about something serious,” said Selma.
She said the teenager had once lied about her entertaining men with alcohol in the house when his father was out with work.
I’m not surprised at all, I just hope he will confess like he did last time to clear my name. This boy is an embarrassment, “ she said. Though Nuule confirmed that he had asked Selma to prepare his son for a circumcision at a state hospital, he was careful not to choose sides.
