Elderly man dies in town

A 72-year-old man has just died next to Nandos in Independence Avenue in Windhoek.

The deceased got out of a taxi, sat on the curb and started bleeding through the nose and mouth. Medical response pronounced him dead, five minutes after trying to resuscitate him. Police and emergency response have just left the scene.
