Emilio Martins (Ramblers to Black Africa), Ananias Gerbhardt (Tigers to Black Africa), Thomas Thomas (Rundu Chiefs to Eleven Arrows), Chris Gawanab (Desert Rollers of Gobabis) and Viali van Staden of Swakopmund Football Club (SFC to Blue Boys and Rudi Louw, free transfer to Orlando Pirates).

Razundara Tjikuzu has just signed up with African Stars.

Meanwhile, Coach Christy Guruseb has joined Civics while Rudolf Bester has moved from Orlando Pirates to Golden Arrows; both in South Africa.

Predictions for upcoming the NPL cup this weekend are as follows:

African Stars vs. Blue Boys - I do not really expect a surprise from the newly-promoted side but I expect it to be an easy game for Stars. Prediction; 2-0 for Stars.

Black Africa vs. United Stars; this one will be very interesting. I expect a very close call because United Stars has an experienced coach who once played for Black Africa (BA) and even coached Orlando Pirates. Therefore, he knows how BA plays. Prediction; 2-1, in favour of BA.

Orlando Pirates vs. Blue Waters - this will arguably come to a tie since Pirates' coach, Ali Akan, has a point to prove not only in this competition but domestic league-wise as well. Mind you, Pirates has not won any silver wear for the past three years. It is likely to perceive this cup as an opportunity to win something. Blue Waters, on the other hand, seems to be fading away from success, not having won any silver wear since mid-2000s. Prediction; 3-1, in favour of Pirates.

Tigers vs. Rundu Chiefs; I bet there will be a shocker by the Rundu side that I thought had a good finish to last season’s MTC/NPL. Prediction; 0-1.
