NPL Cup tickets now available

Tickets for the much-anticipated Namibia Premier League (NPL) Cup, taking place this weekend at the Sam Nujoma Stadium, are being sold at Computicket.

The league administrator, Joshua Tovey Hoebeb says the entrance tickets are now available on Computicket at Shoprite and Checkers countrywide for the pre-season tournament that starts on Saturday, 14th September to end on October 5th.

The tickets are going for N$30 for each open stand receipt while entrance to the VIP section will cost sports lovers N$50.

Group A comprises Orlando Pirates, Blue Waters and Ramblers while Group B consists of Black Africa, United Stars and Civics.

In Group C, Tigers, Rundu Chiefs and Tura Magic will battle while Group D will see African Stars, Blue Boys and Eleven Arrows fight for honour.

The winners of Group A will play the Group C winners while the Group B and D winners will meet in the semi-finals on September 28th.

Here is the complete list of fixtures for this weekend:

Saturday, 14 September

13h00: Pirates vs. Waters

15h00: BA vs. United Stars

17h00: Tigers vs. Chiefs

19h00: Stars vs. Boys

Sunday, 15 September

12h00: Magic vs. Tigers

14h00: Arrows vs. Stars

16h00: Civics vs. BA

18h00: Ramblers vs. Pirates

The winning team will receive N$50 000, gold medals and a floating trophy while the runners-up will receive N$20 000 and silver medals.

The third to eighth-place teams will receive N$15 000 each.
