Last season’s newly introduced Namibia Premier League (NPL) Cup will not take place tomorrow has announced earlier this month due to the unavailability of stadiums to host it.
Currently the venues that were set to host the cup have been fully booked for the Southern African Regional Police Chiefs Co-operation Organisation (SARPCCO) games underway in Windhoek.
NPL Administrator Tovey //Hoebeb told The Villager Sports: “Yes, it will not take place this weekend because of the sporting activities taking place there. But we will communicate to the clubs next week. It might take place end of this month”.
African Stars are the currently holders of the cup which they won last season, pocketing N$50 000.
