Black Africa successfully defended their MTC Premiership title for the third consecutive time when they beat Mighty Gunners 3-0, sending the Otjiwarongo-based side into relegation.
Sport Klub Windhoek joined Mighty Gunners in the relegation and the two sides will now be battling it out in the first division next season.
BA now equaled Civics record of three successive league titles and a record 8th league honours.
BA desperately needed the three points against Gunners who on the other hand, also needed the three points to survive the relegation chop, but BA had other ideas and were too determined to defend their league title.
In Windhoek African Stars were held to a 0-0 draw against Orlando Pirates at the Sam Nujoma Stadium , a game that Stars were hoping for BA to drop points if they had won the game but Orlando Pirates kept firm.
On the other hand, Rundu Chiefs made history by becoming the first club from Rundu to survive in the history of the premier league after beating Blue Waters 2-0 in Rundu.
Civics once again survived on the last day just like  two seasons ago, when under Ali Akan.
SKW lost 2-1 against Tura Magic and got relegated, while Blue Waters survived as they had  a better goal difference.
