The Namibia Chamber of Mines is hosting its third Mining Expo and Conference at Safari Hotel and Conference Centre tomorrow (22 May).
The two day event will be held under the theme “Growing the Cake for Socio-Economy Prosperity” and has for objectives to showcase the Namibian mining industry, present and discuss mining industry contributions to the Namibian economy and challenges facing the industry.
It is also aimed at engaging with stakeholders on business opportunities in the industry, particularly the local suppliers and contractors as well as promote careers in the mining sector.
Chief Executive Officer, Veston Malango, pointed out that the primary target market for this event is the Namibian Government, local and international mining companies, career seekers, school career offices, local suppliers and contractors, investors and interest groups.
