FNB Namibia recently announced that – as of March – it was possible for FNB customers to purchase pre-paid electricity from CenoRED and Erongo RED by using FNB Namibia cell-phone banking, online banking and ATMs. Desery Van Wyk, Manager Cellphone Banking advised that feedback from clients at the coast and North has been positive and they have thanked FNB Namibia for making this possible.
She advised: “We are also extremely excited to announce that NORED is coming soon. Customers will then be able to purchase electricity for City of Windhoek, Erongo RED, CenoRED and NORED.
“We are proud that our coastal and central northern customers are now also enjoying convenient, affordable and a safer option of purchasing prepaid electricity from the safety and security of their own homes.
“In the FNB mission it states that we wish to create sustainable wealth for all stakeholders through discipline, innovation, and empowerment, value added partnerships and a passion for service excellence. By keeping our mission in mind at all times we wish to ensure that all Namibians have access to financial institutions and that there are affordable and convenient products and services available to all our customers.”
