Go for it

Good day all students, writing Grade 10 and Grade 12 exams, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I would like to take this opportunity to express our warmest and greatest best wishes for you as your write your exams for your future, I would like to encourage you to do the very best and make yourself proud, your family and friends, there is a scripture in the bible that says, in 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed.....

When we look at this bible verse, we notice three important things, firstly we see the writer starts by saying we must study, meaning we must work hard and endure hardship, secondly he says we must show ourselves approved, meaning after all we have done in our education, we must have something in our hands to show, something that we have achieve and reached in life. He also says that we need not to be ashamed, the last thing we want to be in life, is to be ashamed.
It’s a feeling of despair, lost and destruction, so to avoid this evil feeling, we need to study and make things happen for ourselves, with the help of God.

I come from a very big family, 11 sons and 5 daughters.
I am the sixth eldest child and the second eldest son, and my parents both were very well educated people, and as we grew up, they instilled in us, the importance and necessity to get education, you can imagine sending so many kids to school and providing for our school fees, and clothes. They worked two jobs to ensure that we get essentials needed in life; I can testify that all my siblings made it in life.

Today, when I look back and see how some of them have achieved certain high positions in life, I only Give God the praise and thank our parents for sending us to school. So we can study and become whatever we desired to be.
Two things are very important for students when one is schooling, that is to attend classes regularly, and the second is to study.
Today, we find teams and groups of students studying together, and that this is not wrong, but studying is a personal thing, each one has to find a method and plan of action that he or she finds best to acquire the highest grades.

A man called Moses in the bible, Acts 7:22 “...was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds”.
What has made Moses mighty, wise and powerful, especially as an Israelite is that he made it his business to study the laws, culture, and environment of Egypt. This was not an easy assignment, and job, but he studied and learned, he was focussed and committed to making a difference in his generation.
Like Moses in Exodus 4 verse 10, I was born with a speaking defect and had the worst uncomfortable experiences as a child, struggling to talk and express myself.
Today I can testify that it pays to preserve and hold on through the tough time, this year 2012, I serve as pastor for over 25 full time years. I am now an international Faculty member for Haggai Leadership Advance Institute, where I train people from all walks of life, today we celebrate 10 years helping our nation on the educational level, when we opened our private school that now has 280 learners and 24 full time staff members, all this because I know God has helped me, and I stayed focussed and if I could have done this you can too.

I pray that you will not allow your background and family life situations to hold you back, because it is not where you come from, but where you are going. Believe in the power of words, daily I recite positive words over my life and believe in the power of words because of Proverbs 18:21.
Remember, ask God to be your helper and comforter in prayer and see what God will do for you. All the best.... You can make the Difference...

Thank you and God bless.
