Eve promises fans a concert to remember

Eve Jehan Jeffers,  the American Grammy award winner says she is honoured and blessed to tour Namibia.
The singer jetted in this afternoon and was welcomed by a huge crowd of fans and on-lookers at Wernhil Park just outside Pick n' Pay, among them the PDK trio and journalists.
The 33-year-old rapper, songwriter, record producer and actress, is expected to perform in Windhoek at the Olympia Hockey Stadium on Saturday (29th September).
During the press conference held by the concert sponsors, Standard Bank Namibia, Red Carpet magazine among others, Eve (popularly known as E.V.E.) expressed how happy she is to be in the country.
“I feel very honoured and blessed to be here. I did not expect such a big crowd at a shopping mall, man!” She exclaimed.
The singer who also visited and performed at a concert in neighbouring Botswana two years ago, which according to entertainment critics did not give Gaborone her best, promises her Namibian fans an out-of-this-world show come Saturday.
When the one of the gathered fans asked her to give a teaser out of any of her popular tracks, she pleaded; "Oh guys, I love you all but I'm just off a 12-hour flight. How about I keep it for Saturday?"
Eve has also achieved success in fashion with her clothing line, Fetish. And apart from being an inaugural winner of a HYPERLINK "" \o "44th Grammy Awards"Grammy Award for HYPERLINK "" \o "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration"Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2002 for the song "HYPERLINK "" \o "Let Me Blow Ya Mind"Let Me Blow Ya Mind" featuring HYPERLINK "" \o "Gwen Stefani"Gwen Stefani, she has also done well enough as an actress.
Eve was number 48 on VH1's list of the "50 Greatest Women Of The Video Era".
As an actress, Eve is best known for her roles as Terri Jones in the films 'HYPERLINK "" \o "Barbershop (film)"Barbershop' and 'HYPERLINK "" \o "Barbershop 2: Back in Business"Barbershop 2: Back in Business', and as Shelley Williams on the HYPERLINK "" \o "UPN"UPN television situation comedy (sitcom) dubbed 'HYPERLINK "" \o "Eve (TV series)"Eve'. She has also featured in other television appearances including Season One and Two of the new drama series; 'Single Ladies'.
Standard Bank (one of her biggest Namibian trip sponsors) CEO, Mpumzi Pupuma, expressed how Standard Bank is very proud to be associated with the arrival of the celebrity guest.
She will spend her day tomorrow visiting a Katutura orphanage; Hope Village.
