Teen in court for housebreaking



Bianca Visagie,  a juvenile repeat offender made a brief appearance in the Katutura Magistrates Court last week for housebreaking with intent to steal.
Vissagie is also implicated in a robbery case and has another charge of intent to cause grievous bodily harm that has been dragging since last year.
The 17-year-old, on 3 September 2011, allegedly broke into Johannes Ndevashiya’s house in Okuryangava residential area and stole a few items.
Amongst the items were a camera, Tropical super 7 juice, roll-on, a wrist watch, brown sugar, a bar of soap, pairs of shoes, an underwear and fresh milk.
She was arrested the same day the offense was committed and was taken into police custody before being sent for juvenile screening.  
Her case has been postponed to 14th March next year for plea and trial.
