13-year-old boy commits suicide in Havana
A 13-year-old boy committed suicide in Windhoek's Havana settlement by hanging himself at his mother's house today, the police confirmed.
It is being alleged that the boy committed suicide after his mother confronted him about missing money. She, later on, discovered his hanging body.
"I have not received the full information yet but I got a report that there is a 13-year-old boy that committed suicide and officers responded. They are still there on the scene," said deputy commissioner Abner Agus when contacted for a comment on Wednesday evening.
The teen was planning on spending the festive season in northern Namibia with family.
