Hangala appointed NAC board chairperson

Former Nampower managing director, Dr. Leake Hangala has taken the reins as chairperson of the board of directors at the Namibia Airports Company following the resignation of Rodgers Kauta.

Works minister, John Mutorwa said these were some of the changes to strengthen the current board which came after consultations.

These have seen the appointment of Advocate Irene Visser, Rudolph Rittman, Grace Muhamed, and Ipupa Kasheeta installed as vice-chair and board members respectively.

Hangala and his vice will have their terms started with effect from the 11th of October 2018 until the 1st of August 2019.

A press briefing will be held soon to shed more light on these developments.
