The Namibian Police has labelled allegations of members of the police force working in cahoots with the gunned down Sakeus ‘Kablou’ Amateta as rumours, until the public come forward with solid information.

In a press release, Nampol deputy commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi said, “Allegations of this nature are very serious and for as long as there is no one willing to come forward and give the Namibian police relevant information regarding the involvement of police officers in the commission of crime, the allegations remain rumours."

He further urged those with concrete evidence leading to the identification and apprehension of such police officers to contact the police regional commander for Khomas, commissioner Sylvanus Nghishidimbwa on 0813385358.

The community is also advised to either contact the deputy commissioner Abner Agas on 0811242649 or the Internal Investigation Directorate or Unit and the nearest police station.
