Katutura ‘thug’ killed in police confrontation

A Katutura resident Sakaria Amateta, popularly known as Kablou was gunned down by Namibian Police Forces on Sunday evening.

According to Police spokesperson Edwin Kanguatjivi, Kablou tried to stab a police officer with a knife, who in retaliation shot and killed him.

Kablou who died on the spot at Wanaheda location, was a well-known trouble maker, often associated with smash and grab, pick pocketing and car theft.
