Gazza pulls off a star studded birthday bash

by Rosalia David

Kwaito star, Gazza, gave an exciting performance at his birthday bash that took place at Monaco Lounge on Friday, staging old time favourite jams from his Stoflap and Zula to Survive albums.

The star-studded event had the who’s who of Namibian showbiz such as prominent modelling sensation, Mariam Kaxuxwena and many others.

Speaking to Vibe, Gazza said he had never expected his birthday bash to be filled to capacity since many events were taking place at the same time last weekend.

“The show was very nice, people came through and I really feel blessed because they could have chosen to be somewhere else but they made it,” he said.

Apart from music lovers and fans who came out dressed to kill, there was also a captivating red-carpet photo moment, a sizzling barbeque with DJs Curtiz and Shoza dishing out positive vibrations.

“People could have easily gotten confused about the venue and dates by going to the place we advertised first, because we had to change our calendar last minutes but they still managed to come through,” he explained.

He added that his birthday bashes have been doing well over the years and they are currently creating a type of image for him with their lavish partying spirits.

Gazza’s birthday tour kicked off at Koko Lounge Ogwediva on the 16th of March followed by another performance at Steakhouse in Walvisbay before kicking it off at Monaco.

His next performance and birthday celebration will be taking place at Jokers this coming Friday.
