Zimbabwean president to visit Namibia

Zimbabwe’s President, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, will be paying a one-day courtesy visit to Namibia on Monday, next week.

President Mnangagwa will use the occasion to formally introduce himself since assuming office and will hold bilateral talks with President Hage Geingob.

This is the first working visit by President Mnangagwa since his inauguration in November 2017.

The visit is being conducted in the interest of further strengthening existing excellent bilateral relations between Namibia and Zimbabwe and to consider new possible areas of cooperation, a State House press statement read.
