Nandi-Ndaitwah survives car accident, 3 die

  Minister of International Relations Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah survived a car crash that killed three people on the spot Thursday, about 20 km from Oshivelo to Tsumeb.   Police sources said Nandi-Ndaitwah was rushed to Tsumeb State Hospital where her condition is said to be stable.   The Villager understands that Nandi-Ndaitwah’s chauffeur-driven VVIP car crashed head-on into another car.   According to the sources, Nandi-Ndaitwah would be transferred from Tsumeb State Hospital where she was admitted to a better facility.   It is also believed that the three who died were all travelling in the truck.   A director in Nandi-Ndaitwah's office, Bertha Amakali, could not give details of the accident, saying that she still had to check.
