President Geingob appoints Marius Sheya as Kunene governor

President Hage Geingob has appointed Outjo's mayor, Marius Sheya as the governor to Kunene region, the presidency announced today.

Sheya is currently the mayor of Outjo, and will take over the position of the late Angelika Muharukua effective 1 January 2018.

President Geingob expressed his confidence and trust in the ability, commitment and fairness with which the Governor will be expected to discharge his duties and responsbilities, a press statement said.
