Jeiyo first local artist to release album on Namibian Music Download

by Rosalia David

Julius Mtuleni, better known as Jeiyo, will be the first to release his 20 track album on Namibian Music Download website (NamMusic).

The artist who spoke at his listening party held recently, says that he chose to drop his Life album on Namibian music website because it’s a local website where people all over the continent can easily access.

“I decided to choose NamMusic instead of iTunes because I believe it is a platform that we as Namibians can make use off. Although I am the first artist to sell my album on this specific website, I believe that it is more convenient for music lovers,” Jeiyo says.

Jeiyo is currently signed under Gazza Music Production (GMP) and his album has been produced by himself including Sam E Lee Jones, Dj Shoza and Gazza.

Although he decided to go digital with this album, he confirmed that he will be releasing it on CD’s as well.

“People can do the pre-orders for the album, the songs can be bought individually online for N$6.00 while the full album will cost you N$100 only but the CD’S will be going for N$120.00,” Jeiyo says.

With a couple of hit songs played during his listening party, the Life album is sure to be something sweet to have for the festive season.
