Police Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi has announced that the young boy who was reported missing yesterday has been found.

Nolan Thambo is suspected to have wandered off from school in Pioneers Park in Windhoek, after he was not picked up on time.

“Thank you very much in tracing Nolan. The Tambo family notified yesterday night that Nolan is safe,” said Shikwambi.

She said the boy was allegedly picked up by a taxi driver who spent the whole day with him trying to locate his parents until the boy finally recognised his mothers working place in Rhino Park, Windhoek.

He was then dropped off and reunited with her.

His mother thanked citizens who assisted in the search for her son and many others who offered emotional support through prayer.
