A Dordabis man who murdered his boss and stole N$150 000 in 2006, will spent the next 15 years in jail.

Benestus Kazondovi attacked his boss’ wife with a spade and when her husband came, he tied his hands and locked the couple in a store room.

He then asked them to reveal where they had hidden the income from a sale.

When he got the money, he went on the run for five months and was arrested in November 2006.

He, however, managed to escape from police custody but was re-arrested again. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

After his second arrest, he was sentenced to nine years and was slapped with a further eight months for escaping from lawful custody.

He was also declared unfit to possess a fire arm for 20 years
