Mwoombola suspension lifted

Secretary to Cabinet George Simataa has just announced that the previously suspended Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Dr Andreas Mwoombola has returned to his duties at the ministry as of today.

Dr Mwoombola was previously suspended pending an investigation on alleged misconduct. In a press release today, Simataa wrote that the preliminary investigation has been completed and that Mwoombola has resumed duties today.
