INTERNET SOLUTIONS PROVIDES UNLAWFUL TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES

It  has  come  to  the  attention  of  the  Communications  Regulatory  Authority  of  Namibia   (CRAN)  that  Internet  Solutions  (Pty)  Ltd  is  providing  telecommunications  services  to   the  public  within  the  Republic  of  Namibia,  in  a  manner,  which  is  unlawful  in  that   Internet  Solutions  (Pty)  Ltd  does  not  have  a  valid  licence  issued  by  the  Authority.      

The  services   provided  by   Internet  Solutions  (Pty)  Ltd   therefore  contravene   the   provisions  of  section  37(1)  and  section  38(2)(a)  of  the  Communications  Act  8  of  2009   and  constitutes  a  regulatory  offence  in  terms  of  section  114  (1)  of  the  Act.       CRAN  is  in  the  process  of  taking  action  against  Internet  Solutions  (Pty)  Ltd  in  this   regard  in  terms  of  section  115  of  the  Communications  Act.

In  the  premise,  the  public  is  hereby  informed  to  refrain  from  entering  into  any  business   transactions  relating  to  the  provision  of  telecommunications  services  with  Internet   Solutions  (Pty)  Ltd  until  further  notice  by  the  Authority.
