Man accused of rape

A resident of 2291 Fellep Tulimeijo Street in Herero Location, Chris Ngeendapi (40) has been charged with raping a woman in the Otjomuise area.
Ngeendapi is alleged to have perpetrated the crime on 5 November 2015. The accused is due to appear again in court on the 16th of May 2016 as his docket was not at court during his last appearance.
He was remanded in police custody.
In an unrelated case of rape, Seun Mbunguha (18) is charged with attempted rape. The incident is alleged to have taken place on the 15th of November 2015 in the Otjomuise area. The accused is also alleged to have taken the female complainant to his house against her will resulting in a charge of kidnapping.
 Mbunguha is expected in court on the 30th of June 2016 due to further investigations and till then, he is to remain in police custody court documents show.
